Just a quick heads-up:
The corruption trial of former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will begin on Sept. 29 in Jerusalem, the Justice Ministry said Monday. Mr. Olmert, 63, was indicted last month on charges of illegally accepting funds from an American supporter and double-billing Jewish organizations for trips abroad. He has denied any wrongdoing. The charges, stemming from when Mr. Olmert was the Jerusalem mayor and later was a cabinet minister, emerged when he was still prime minister. He eventually resigned from the office, to which he was elected in 2006.
