By Dave Anderson:
Voice of America reports on a large series of attacks in Baghdad:
Iraqi police say a series of car bombings across the capital, Baghdad,
has killed at least 112 people and wounded nearly 200 others....Tuesday's attacks were the worst in the Iraqi capital since late
October when twin car bomb attacks outside municipal offices killed at
least 155 people.
And as Steve pointed out this is "success" as defined by NATO's supreme military commander. It is the level of violence that NATO is aiming to achieve in Afghanistan. I wonder what catastrophic success would look like if this ain't it.
"One more such victory and we are undone."
