I need to wash the oatmeal out of my daughter's hair, and then we are off to the library to vote in the Pennsylvania Democratic Primary.
She likes voting. There is a big blinking red button to press. Afterwards, the old ladies give her cookies. Cookies also motivate me. It is a good deal.
This time around, I figure I'll go either 0 for 3 or 1 for 3 in preferred candidates going onto the general election from contested primaries. I routinely vote the Mendoza line, so 1 for 3 is a good day for me.
Governor: My preferred candidate will be crushed.
Lt. Gov.: I have no preferred candidate. Don't know enough to like any of them.
US Senate: My preferred candidate is in good shape to win.
Most of the rest of the races on the ballot (including mine) are uncontested, or contested at the write-in level.
