Head on over to my friend Ibnkafka's blog, where he has an interesting post on what Flikr folks are saying about the provenance of pictures the Israeli Defense Force says are of weapons seized from the Gaza relief flotilla.
Long and the short of it: Flikr photography buffs say the imbedded date and time metadata on some of the pics show some were taken in 2006, others in 2003.
Faultily set cameras or a faulty hasbara?
Update: And just as fast as that, the IDF edits everything to show the "correct" dates.
I sure hope the New York Times didn't publish any of those photos. I can't take another BS apologia from Clark Hoyt.
