As to whether or not the US intervention in Libya is positive I remain agnostic. As a card-carrying objector to war and near pacifist my credentials have not changed for nearly fifty years. But during that half century my conviction that those sensibilities should be normative for everyone (or even possible) have gone from solid to pliable to optional. I may be the only former draftee who has come to believe that conscription may offer protection against the establishment of a garrison state.
I'm posting this here because I like listening to these young people and respect them both. This is a snip from a much longer conversation avatilable at Bloggingheads TV. H/T 3Quarks
