Commentary By Ron Beasley
Obama is promising us a plan to create jobs. He will have a plan but it won't be able to get past the Republican controlled House. In fact the blue dogs would probably stop it in the Senate. Obama knows this and he is doing the only thing he can do - play politics. I had a plan but the Republicans rejected it. But it doesen't matter anyway, his plan wouldn't work. We hear that the economy is not growing because of uncertanity. That is true, but the root of the uncertainty is not taxes or regulation. The real uncertainty is all about the global financial system. The too big to fail banks are still insolvent. The investor class knows this, corporations know this. The failure of a single "too big to fail bank" will result in a landside.
